Marcellus Shale Hour: March 5, 2013

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- KDKA Radio's Robert Mangino is joined by Mark Windle on this edition of the Range Resources Marcellus Shale Hour.

Mark Windle brings his expertise of gas drilling and regulation to the Duquesne Light Pittsburgh Home and Garden Show from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Windle kicks things off by letting Mangino know how much land is required for leasing to Marcellus Shale, unfortunately Robert's 1/3-acre is not enough.

Windle also discusses recent "Fracktivist" celebrities who are misinforming the public about fracking. These "Fracktivists" are making claims about air and water affected by fracking without scientific backing.

Windle provides the scientific backing and explains how America is one of the leaders in clean air and water.  Tight regulations and research have helped Marcellus Shale maintain industry leading standards.

Listen to The Marcellus Shale Hour Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA.
