Woman Admits To Storing Cocaine In Her Body For 2 Weeks After Arrest

GREENSBURG, Pa. (KDKA) – Police say a woman jailed at the Westmoreland County Prison, admitted to storing cocaine inside her body for two weeks after her arrest.

State Police say 31-year-old Tonya Lee Piper was arrested on Feb. 6 on an outstanding warrant. Police say she was in a car that fled from them when she was arrested.

It was at a court hearing, two weeks later, that Piper told a trooper that she had been hiding the cocaine inside her private area, since her arrest.

According to police, she requested to be taken to a nearby medical center to have the drugs removed. They say she was hiding 14 grams of cocaine.

Along with previous charges, Piper is now facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, contraband, and possession with intent to deliver.
