Tractor Trailer Crashes Over Hillside Along Route 8
MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- An accident involving a tractor trailer sent emergency crews to Butler County this afternoon.
According to emergency officials, the tractor trailer crashed over a hillside along Route 8 southbound near Hilltop Drive and Pollock Drive in Middlesex Township just after 3 p.m.
The accident forced crews to put some road restrictions in place, but nothing was shut down.
Emergency officials say the truck was carrying a 45,000-ton steel coil.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
