Errey: 'You Have To Find Some Sort Of Chemistry With Malkin On A Line'

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Bob Errey spoke with The Fan Morning Show Monday to give his thoughts on the Penguins' injuries, and what Dan Bylsma should do with Evgeni Malkin on a line.

When asked if Friday night's game was one of the best he's seen Marc-Andre Fleury play, he said it was definitely one of the best performances this season. He was happy to see Fleury get a solid bounce back performance.

"I feel pretty good about how well he is playing heading into the playoffs," Errey said.

With the injury to James Neal, the lines could look different when the Penguins get back to practice today. Malkin, who is Neal's typical linemate has not been scoring at the pace we are accustomed to.

"You have to find some sort of chemistry with Malkin on a line," Errey said. He also hinted that he could be playing with Chris Kunitz this week.

Michael Del Zotto's elbow to Neal's face is the reason for the injury.

Bob said that the way in which Del Zotto turned his back was an unusual approach to deliver a hit. With the elbow pads as hard as they are now, they are like weapons and can deliver a painful blow. Bob thinks that the hit was intentional.
