MTV Pulls Plug On "Buckwild"

HOLLYWOOD (KDKA) - Just eight days after the death of a reality TV star, MTV is pulling the plug on "Buckwild."

According to TMZ.com, MTV didn't give the cast and crew any specific reason for the cancellation.

An official announcement on the cancellation is expected on Wednesday morning.

Last week, one of the show's stars, Shain Gandee, his uncle and another man died after getting an SUV stuck in a mud pit.

Officials say all three died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Crews already shot four episodes for season two of "Buckwild," but those will never be aired.

However, a special shot two months ago will still be aired on MTV.
