Road Rage Incident Leads To Stabbing In Richland Twp.

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A young man was hospitalized Wednesday evening with a stab wound to his stomach following a violent road rage incident at a shopping plaza in Richland Township.

It was right before 6 p.m. Wednesday when a man in his 20s ran into the King's Family Restaurant bleeding from his stomach.

According to Northern Regional Police, he and a group of young men from Butler County had gotten into a fight that stemmed from a road rage incident in the Northtowne Square Shopping Center.

Police say a young man is accused of throwing a pocket knife at the victim, puncturing his abdomen.

Officers say the victim was in the King's restaurant when he called 911. He was taken to the hospital.

Northern Regional Police caught the person who allegedly threw the knife just a short distance away on Route 8 at the entrance to Target.

He was with another young man in his 20s and a teenager under 18 in a gold Honda, which was later towed from the scene.

There's no word on charges or the identities of any of the men.
