Fish Consumption Advisories
Opening day of trout season is Saturday, and if you're heading out, you should know about some fish consumption advisories.
The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has issued them for the Beaver and Allegheny Rivers, as well as the Beaver Run Reservoir in Westmoreland County.
These advisories are listed in a summary book anglers receive when they buy their licenses.
However, a commission official says many don't read it.
