South Hills Resident Takes In Wandering Fawn

BETHEL PARK (KDKA) -- A man in the South Hills had a very cute house guest.

Joe Papp, of Bethel Park, recently spotted a fawn wandering through his neighborhood.

The baby deer, which seemed to be without a mother, was sleeping in backyards and dodging traffic.

Papp says he's been watching the deer for days, but it wasn't until Thursday that he broke down and brought the little guy inside.

"It was sleeping out here in the rain, and I felt bad for it, so I just brought it in and gave it some milk and here we are," said Papp.

Wildlife officials came and got the little fawn on Friday.
