VisitPittsburgh Launches City Photo Contest
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Get out your cameras Pittsburgh!
VisitPittsburgh has launched a new photo contest called "Say Cheese, Pittsburgh."
The contest runs from June 7 through July 24.
Pittsburgh's tourism agency says they will use the best photo submissions to promote the region to travel writers, tourists and meeting planners all around world.
They are looking for shots of Pittsburgh's skyline, as well as from local events and festivals, including the Point State Park fountain, the Three Rivers Arts Festival, Kennywood, the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium and more.
Five prizes will be awarded:
- First Prize: $1,000
- Second Prize: $250
- Third Prize: $150
- Fourth & Fifth Prizes: $50 each
The winners will be announced on July 29.
