Motorcyclist Pinned Under Car
LAWRENCEVILLE (KDKA)- A motorcycle lost control early Friday morning and crashed along Butler Street in Lawrenceville.
Around 3 a.m., the motorcycle hit a car on Butler Street. The motorcycle went one way and the rider slid under the parked car.
He was pinned under the car for a few minutes. Police and medics had to use several hydraulic jacks to lift the car and free the trapped motorcyclist. There were some fluids leaking from the car, so crews worked quickly to remove the motorcycle rider.
He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with serious injuries.
Police believe the motorcycle was speeding at the time of the crash.
