PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)–One of our favorite guests to the Fan Morning Show is former Pitt defensive tackle, Chas Alecxih. Chas was with the Miami Dolphins last season on the practice squad until he tore a pectoral muscle.

He joined the show to talk about Rushel Shell leaving, and then not being allowed to return to the Pitt Football program.

Chas tells us that players in the locker room would not blacklist Rushel if he were to come back. Even if he is not the best teammate, Chas tells us, “you can pretty much stomach anyone,” as long as they perform to their ability.

Chas thinks that Rushel could have made things right just by apologizing to the coaching staff and the team.

“Tell them you’re here and ready to work,” Chas said.

We also get Chas’ thoughts on the decision by Paul Chryst to not allow Shell back to the program.
