Man Arrested Following Washington Co. 2x4 Attack
CANTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A man was arrested after assaulting a woman with a 2x4 in Washington County Tuesday night.
According to police, the incident happened in the 1500-block of Jefferson Avenue in Canton Township around 8:18 p.m.
The suspect, 39-year-old Vaughn Dubielak, is accused of hitting a woman several times with the 2x4, which broke her arm in two places.
Dubielak then allegedly used the 2x4 to break the windshield of a car before getting into a fight with some of the neighbors. While fighting with the neighbors, he grabbed a girl and threw her to the ground while allegedly trying to hit several other people with the 2x4.
When police arrived, they found the suspect intoxicated and lying down in some weeds behind some trailers.
He is currently being lodged in the Washington County Jail.
