Police Probe 3 Overnight Robberies, Likely Related

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Not one or two, but three overnight robberies took place in three different towns.

They all happened at gas stations and police think they are likely all related.

All of the gas stations were in close proximity to each other and were robbed in a four-and-a-half hour period.

A man claiming to have a gun was also involved in each robbery.

The first robbery happened in White Oak around 8 p.m. Monday night.

The second took place in Elizabeth a few hours later at American Natural.

Another two-and-a-half hour later, the Sunoco on Walnut Street in McKeesport was hit.

In all three cases, the robber hid something under his shirt that he claimed was a gun.

He also had a black shirt wrapped around his head.

Police haven't made any arrests, but they are following up on several leads.
