PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) — Aces in baseball make a lot of money, especially when they hit the free agency market.

Pirates ace AJ Burnett will enter free agency after the 2013 season and, while he brings a lot to the table, his age plus his declining performance has many wondering if he is worth the high-dollar price tag he will command.

Colin Dunlap believes Burnett still has something left in the tank and his clubhouse leadership is second to none, but if Burnett asks for anything close to his $16.5 million 2013 salary, Dunlap believes the Pirates should take a long look before giving him that contract.
