Great American Banana Split Celebration Information
Latrobe is celebrating the banana split this weekend.
On Friday, city officials will dedicate a historical marker that will be placed near the spot where the first dish was made.
Dole and Saint Vincent College are teaming up with the city to make it a weekend event called "The Great American Banana Split Celebration," which will includes a free banana split bar on Sunday.
