Police Investigating After Report Of Child Bound By Duct Tape In Van

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating a possible abduction.

Police say just before 6 p.m. on Kirk Avenue in the Carrick section of Pittsburgh, someone reported seeing child in a white cargo-type van.

The person reporting the incident said the child was seen with duct tape over his mouth crying, while his hands were also bound with duct tape.

The van also had a metal cage separating the driver and cargo sections of the van.

However, no children in the area have been reported missing so far.

Police say the driver of the van was a white male, 50 to 60 years old and had a long goatee.
