1 Dead, 1 Injured In Washington Co. Shooting

WEST PIKE RUN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting in West Pike Run Township Tuesday morning.

According to officials at the scene, one man is dead and another man has been flown to a Pittsburgh hospital.

Reportedly the two men in their 40s were friends and had gotten into an argument.

Police say Robert Watson attacked Joe Volchek at his house with a pipe. Volchek then shot and killed Watson.

Volchek was taken to the hospital.

Police say Watson was found inside a utility shed.

The Washington County Coroner has been called to the scene.

It's unclear what prompted the argument that led to the fight.
