PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- When Pearl Jam visited CONSOL Energy Center over the weekend, one of their biggest fans took center stage.
Pirates closer Jason Grilli, who finished the 2013 season with 33 saves and a 2.70 ERA, made a surprise appearance at the concert to thank fans for their support.

Grilli, 36, has used the band's vintage song "Whipping" as his entrance music at PNC Park.
Pearl Jam has been contracted to provide music for national television coverage of the World Series.
