PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Thousands were out on the North Shore Sunday for the annual “Step Out” walk to stop diabetes.

Organizers say diabetes affects everyone in some way.
“Everyone knows someone who has been affected by diabetes, whether it be type one, type two, pre-diabetes or gestational diabetes,” said Kira Foley with the American Diabetes Association. “The American Diabetes Association is trying to find a cure for all diabetes.”READ MORE: COVID Surge At Butler Memorial Hospital Has Surgeons Prioritizing Elective Surgeries
