Man Accused Of Setting Girlfriend's House On Fire After Love Triangle Exposed

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An alleged love triangle took a violent turn Tuesday in Washington County when a man was accused of setting fire to his girlfriend's house.

The woman who owns the house said she saw it coming. She had even called police the day before to tell them she believed it would happen.

The mother of the arsonist says he didn't do it though.

Anthony Montgomery, 20, is accused of setting the fire and was arrested Tuesday night.

"His emotions is being played by the woman that he supposedly burnt the house, but, I mean, he knows her, she's been playing him against her husband for a couple months now and if anything did happen, I would say that it is more or less her for pulling the strings for it," his mother said.

The woman she's talking about is 31-year-old Anastasia Milchak. She's married to Damien Milchak and both live in the house. According to his mother, the two are going through a divorce ever since her son found out Anastasia was dating Montogomery.

Rosie Milchak owns the now burned out home in the 700-block of Ewing Street in the City of Washington. She says she called State Police Monday after Montgomery threatened to do what police arrested him for.

"He says he's gonna burn it," said Rosie Milchak. "Because I called the police and told them that I didn't want him on the property because I wanted him out. I wanted the whole situation done."

Montgomery is charged with arson and remains in the Washington County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Anastasia and Damien Milchak are both registered sex offenders for a 2012 offense against a 10-year-old boy. They both served time in prison for the crime.
