Some Lenders Now Trying To Keep You Informed Of Your Credit Score
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - You're supposed to keep an eye on your credit score, but doing so costs money.
Now, the credit rating agency, FICO, wants to give consumers their rating for free.
"Discover says they're actually going to put your FICO score on your statement every single month," said Melody Hobson, a CBS News contributor. "This is a major change and actually a really good thing."
Discover is not alone.
Barclay Card is also in on this, and more lenders are expected to join up soon.
