Steelers G David DeCastro Says This Team Still Has Some Fight Left In Them

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)- Steelers guard David DeCastro joined The Fan Morning Show on Tuesday morning in his regular weekly spot.

David tells the guys that the loss to the Ravens was frustrating.

It was a game that he and his teammates thought they had a chance to win, but now they must find a way to regroup and get back in the win column.

He says that a case can be made that the Steelers are following along with the trend of the NFL being a passing league.

"You can make an argument about that," DeCastro said. "But it's still a game where you need to be balanced."

DeCastro says the Steelers need to start fast and control the game with the lead to be efficient running the ball. He says it's not over complicated... it's just a matter of execution.

The Steelers at (5-7) are not out of the playoff race, but the margin for error is razor thin. They will need to win all of their final four regular season games and get some help if they are to secure that sixth and final spot in the AFC playoffs.

"The morale is good," DeCastro said. "We are still ready to fight."

The Steelers will need to start with a win over the Dolphins starting Sunday at Heinz Field at 1 p.m.
