Police Probe Separate Shootings In Mt. Oliver, Brookline
MOUNT OLIVER (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Mount Oliver.
Authorities were called to the scene in the 100-block of Onyx Avenue around 9:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they found 27-year-old LaRico Morgan shot dead in the street.
Several shell casings were found nearby.
Police believe Morgan was leaving the home when a dark colored SUV, possibly a Ford, drove by and shot him.
Police say Morgan was from Beltzhoover.
There's no word yet on what prompted the shooting but police say there is an ongoing feud between two groups on the area.
Meanwhile, in Brookline, two people were injured in another shooting around the same time.
It happened at the intersection of Route 51 and Whited Street.
One victim suffered a gunshot wound and the other was grazed by a bullet. There's no word on their conditions.
A vehicle was also shot up during the incident.
Police brought in K9s to search for suspects.
