PARKWAY EAST (KDKA)- State Police are looking into two crashes along the Parkway East, in which both drivers ran away from the scene.

The first crash happened around 1:45 Wednesday morning, in the outbound lanes of the Parkway East near the Edgewood-Swissvale exit.

A man slammed into a wall along the Parkway. Our cameras were there, when he decided to take the keys and make a run for it.

Police arrested the man a short time later in a nearby neighborhood. They believe the man was drunk.

The second crash along the Parkway East happened minutes later in the outbound lanes near the Forest Hills exit.

State police say the man was seen fleeing the scene of the crash, heading towards Ardmore Boulevard.

Police were unable to track down that driver.

Both crashes are under investigation, it doesn’t appear anyone was injured in either crash.
