Another Arctic Blast Expected Monday

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Although snow fell for hours without stopping Sunday, the next week is expected to be pretty dry.

However, another arctic blast will hit our area again at the beginning of the week.

"The temperature plunge in the next couple of days is really going to get your attention," said KDKA's Jon Burnett.

The beginning of the week will be cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 3 to 20 degrees. Not much precipitation is expected though.

"It stays nice and dry frankly," Burnett said.

Some flurries are possible Monday, but he calls it "a nuisance snow only," and says we should still be prepared to salt, scrape and shovel on Monday morning.

Although it won't stay dry forever. More snow is expected to hit our region at the end of the week and into the weekend.
