HENRY CLAY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One person was killed in an accident in Fayette County Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the accident happened on Bruceton Road in Henry Clay Township around 2:27 p.m.

A vehicle traveling south went off the road and struck a utility pole. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its side in the middle of the road.

The driver of the vehicle, Chris McDonald, 54, of Markleysburg, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police do not believe McDonald was wearing a seatbelt.
