PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – The Steelers officially released linebacker LaMarr Woodley on Tuesday, and today he signed a two-year deal with the Oakland Raiders.

Woodley was set to make $8 million with the Steelers this year, which would have been the fourth year of a six-year, $61.5 million deal signed before the 2011 season before the team released him.

Starkey and Mueller briefly weighed in on the signing this afternoon giving their thoughts on the contract Woodley signed and the impact he may have in Oakland.
