Jogger May Face Ordinance Violation After Dog Bites Boy

WILKINSBURG (KDKA) – A woman may face an ordinance violation after her dog allegedly bit a boy in Wilkinsburg on Saturday.

According to police, the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. in the 900-block of South Trenton Avenue, heading towards Penn Avenue.

The female jogger and her dog were approaching two boys from behind. At that time, the dog lunged at one of the boys and bit him on his leg.

Police say the woman continued jogging, but did tell the boy and his brother that her dog had all of its shots.

She later called police to report the incident.

No charges have been filed, but she could face a borough ordinance violation.

Police now consider the case to be closed.
