Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For 2012 North Versailles Murder

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man convicted of shooting and killing a woman in North Versailles in 2012 was sentenced to life in prison without parole Monday morning.

Dorian Williams was convicted of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 24-year-old Susan Hammond.

Hammond's body was found in the 2100-block of Patricia Lane on Aug. 27, 2012. A tenant found her body between two cars in a parking lot outside of the Versailles Castle apartment complex.

In November of 2012, Williams was charged with homicide. According to police, Williams was already incarcerated at the Allegheny County Jail at the time of his arrest.
