Police Investigate After 3 People Shot, 7-Month-Old Injured

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)- Three people are recovering from gunshot wounds and a 7-month-old is recovering from injuries from flying glass.

Pittsburgh Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Knoxville and ended in Beltzhoover.

It first started around 9:10 p.m. near the Uni-Mart on Brownsville Road in Knoxville. The shooter then moved few blocks away along Michigan Street in Beltzhoover.

Police describe the incident as a moving gun battle.

"The person who was shooting had no soul," said Keisha Craig, who heard the gunshots.

Craig lives on Michigan Street and was home with her children at the time of the shooting.

"Me and my kids were eating and we heard four gunshots so we had to duck," she said. "We heard around four gunshots and I told them to duck, continue eating, duck and just stay down."

Pittsburgh Police spokesperson Sonya Toler tells us all of the victims in the shootings were driven to the hospital, so they aren't exactly sure which victims were shot at what locations.

The 7 month old child was in one of the cars that was shot. The infant was injured by shattered glass. No word on the child's condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
