Greenfield Attempted Luring Under Investigation

GREENFIELD (KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police are investigating an attempted child luring incident in Greenfield.

According to police, the alleged incident happened around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 4100-block of Rosalia Place.

Two teenage girls told police they were riding their bikes along the road when a man and a woman in a red Honda pulled up alongside them.

The woman was behind the wheel, but they told police the man jumped out of the car and grabbed one of them.

"She struggled and got away," said Pittsburgh Public Safety Spokesperson Sonya Toler. "The girls got back on their bicycles and got safely away from the man."

Thankfully no one was hurt and the girls made it home and called police -- and they had a pretty good description of the man.

They described him as a white male, approximately 200 pounds, short brown hair, with a goatee and glasses.

They say he was also wearing gray shorts and a shirt.

Part of the Pennsylvania license plate read "G-D-G."
