Former Steelers & Penguins Face Off In Pittsburgh Sports Trivia Challenge

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's a difficult dilemma for Pittsburgh sports' fans.

Would you back the Steelers or the Penguins if they battled in a trivia challenge?

The showdown happened at the Blue Line Grille in Uptown.

Team Steelers was comprised of longtime Steeler Brett Keisel, and former Steelers Aaron Smith and Jerame Tuman.

Team Penguins was made up of former players Phil Bourque, Troy Loney and WDVE host Randy Bauman.

"Football trivia... that could be a challenge," said Bourque.

"I know what a football is. I know where the Steelers play," said Loney. "I know a little bit about football."

Team Root Sports was made up of former Penguins Bob Errey, Jay Caufield and announcer Rob King.

"I'm a little worried about the media guys because there job is to know everything, so I think they have an advantage," said Smith. "We might have to start them out with a penalty."

Each team had a buzzer, and they were asked sports trivia. But then at the end of the competition, the questions turned to regular trivia.

The sports stars said it was fun to get together even if they didn't always have the right answers.

In the end, Team Penguins was declared the winners. However, Team Steelers say their buzzer didn't seem to be working right.
