Man Charged After Shooting & Killing Cat For Urinating On Bed

EAST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A man is facing charges after allegedly shooting and killing his cat earlier this month.

According to police, the incident happened at 62 Stutzman Road in East Wheatfield Township on July 20.

Scott Benshoff, 55, allegedly shot and killed his cat after discovering the animal had urinated on the bed.

Benshoff is facing animal cruelty charges.
