The student told police he knew it would be inappropriate for the two to date prior to his 18th birthday and waited until after to share his feeling with Batykefer.

Batykefer told police she and the student had sex about a dozen times at her Coraopolis home.

Batykefer has been charged with one count of sexual assault and has a preliminary hearing scheduled Oct. 28.

There’s been no comment from North Allegheny School District officials on the charges, despite our repeated calls.
