Crews Working To Repair Charleroi Water Main Break

CHARLEROI (KDKA) – Crews are working to repair a massive water main break in Charleroi.

According to emergency dispatchers, the line broke in the 400-block of Fifth Street.

The break caused a big hole to open up in the middle of the street. As a result, Fifth Street is blocked at Washington Avenue.

Two homes were left without service, but water crews are at the scene.

The break is expected to be fixed by Thursday afternoon.
