Fabulous Homemade Cookies Recipe: Macaroons

Macaroons (from Fabulous Homemade Cookies featured at the Peoples Gas Holiday Market)
Ingredients:
- 32 oz bag of coconut
- 3/4 cup condensed milk
- Cherry to decorate
Directions:
- Mix coconut till dry and fluffy. I can do by hand better with mixer to let air in to fluff. Gradually add condensed milk watch not to over saturate. Then scoop and bake 350 degrees for 15 min.
- With this recipe there are many variations. You can add chocolate chips. You can top with nuts. You can mix in chopped nut gets even dryer so the condensed milk will coat better. These are by far the favorite at all of my markets and events.
- If you're not concerned about gulten then you can add 2/3 cup of all purpose flour. And fluffing up coconut is not necessarily needed.
