PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – According to the New Orleans Saints website, Ben Roethlisberger has opted out of the Pro Bowl and will be replaced by Saints’ quarterback Drew Brees.

Players are now only permitted to miss the Pro Bowl for injury reasons or if they are playing in the Super Bowl.  Given that the Steelers were knocked out last week, that means Roethlisberger is nursing some sort of injury.
