Task Force Makes 18 Recommendations To Support City Public Education
The mayor's Education Task Force is out with its report on ways to support public education in Pittsburgh.
It offers 18 recommendations in five different categories.
Among them were enhanced collaboration between the Public Safety Department and the School Security.
Also, improving route safety for all children, including improved deployment of crossing guards.
The report recommends the city advocate, alongside the Superintendent and School Board, for fair education funding.
