The break happened around 11 p.m. Thursday along Anderson Street, which runs under the Parkway North.

Water was flowing down the street, which combined with the cold temperatures, created some icy conditions.

Overnight, crews decided to block off Anderson Street between General Robinson Boulevard and Stockton Avenue.

The closure may also affect people who use the HOV lanes on the Parkway North. One of the offramps from the HOV lanes runs right down to Anderson Street.

It doesn’t appear anyone in the area lost water due to the break.
