PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Butler County teen was killed while riding on an ATV late Friday night.

State Police say 16-year-old Briggs Robert Buck, of Chicora, was riding as a passenger on an ATV driven by another 16-year-old after 11:30 p.m.

Police say the driver lost control of the vehicle as it slid on some snow. As the ATV rolled over, both boys were thrown from it, killing Buck.

It’s unclear if – or how badly – the other boy was injured.

No word on if he will face any charges.
