PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – After Wednesday night’s 67-63 loss at the hands of Miami that has just about killed the Pitt basketball team’s chances of making the NCAA Tournament, the Panthers could use some good news.

That good news is coming in the form of 2013 top recruit Mustapha Heron and his stellar play at the high school level.

The 6’5, 200-pound Heron is ranked the number 18th player in the 2016 class according to 247 Sports.

Meyer also writes about Kentucky’s continued efforts in recruiting Heron who has already committed to Pitt.
