Neighbors' Brawl Caught On Camera, Not First Time

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An all-out brawl between neighbors was caught on camera.

We talked to both women about what started the fight, and why it wasn't the first time they've had problems.

"The dog is charging, so I swing my broom and then she hits me," said Cynthia Grayson. "So then when I beat her up, I'm defending myself."

"This is the consequence all the time with her dogs all the time running out in extended leash," she added.

Grayson and next-door-neighbor Janet Kemp went at it Saturday afternoon in front of Grayson's 10th Avenue home.

"She by no means is any victim, by any means," said Kemp.

With a black eye and a broken finger, Kemp said the problems with Grayson have festered for a long time and she's fed up with it.

"I'm not going to be able to resolve this with her, she's wicked," said Kemp. "I mean, I have no other words for her, other than she's a wicked person."

Grayson shared video with KDKA of when she says one of Kemp's miniature pinschers came at her two years ago. She got that on tape too.

She faced charges then too, but they were later dropped.

The two women have had words before, but this past weekend's brawl between the two neighbors took their animosity to a new level.

"I tried to walk away, but she kicked me," said Grayson. "It doesn't make any sense, none of it makes any sense."

"She just hates me so much, that she just feels like she's got to finally snap and take it to the next level and take it to violence," said Kemp.
