PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)- According to ESPN’s Andy Katz Robert Morris head coach Andy Toole have reached an agreement on a two year extension that will carry him through the 2019-2020 season.

Toole, 34, has been the Coach at Robert Morris since 2010.

In his 5 seasons with the team, Toole has accumulated 2 regular season NEC Championships, and a conference tournament Championship this past season.

The Colonials then advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with an 81-77 win over North Florida.

Toole has a career record of (110-65) record in his 5 seasons as the head coach.

When reached for comment, the Robert Morris athletic department said, “We’re in active negotiations with Andy for an extension right now and should have an official announcement in the coming days.”

It was reported over the weekend that Toole had turned down an offer to leave Robert Morris to coach at Fordham.
