PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The man accused of assaulting a woman at a Pitt bus stop has been arrested.

Police say Jon Mattison, of Homestead, has been charged with indecent assault, unlawful restraint and simple assault.

He’s accused of assaulting a female Pitt student at a Bigelow Boulevard bus stop. Police said he “pulled her hair, pushed her down and grabbed her breast.”

Police say Mattison is a registered sex offender with a lengthy criminal past.

Pitt Police say Allegheny County Adult Probation and Parole helped in Mattison’s arrest.
