Officers were called to a home because the family had concerns that their son was kidnapped. When officers tried to enter the home to talk to the family, the family’s dog escaped and bit both of the officers.

Animal officials were called to the scene. It took them a while to get the dog collared and one of the officers was bitten as the dog was being put into the animal control truck.
