Police say McDaniel sexually assaulted his former girlfriend’s 11-year-old daughter. He later pleaded guilty to the charges, served a little over a year in jail and then was sentenced to six months house arrest.

He’s required to register as a sex offender for 15 years and not have any contact with underage children. He registered as a sex offender in the 1200-block of Hodgkiss Street on the North Side.

But, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s office says he escaped the house arrest.
