Hot, Humid, Wet Weather Expected For The Rest Of The Week

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Rain moved into the Pittsburgh area Monday morning, and we could be dodging showers the rest of the week.

The National Weather Service issued a Flood Advisory for parts of the area earlier in the day, but it has since expired.

According to KDKA's Jon Burnett, we should be on the lookout for more showers and storms tonight.

"Look for rain showers with isolated storms tonight. Heavy downpours from time to time could cause minor flooding and it will be humid, hot and wet for the rest of the work week," said Burnett.

He says it won't rain all the time, but there is a chance for wet weather just about every day.

"It is not going to pour, all the time, every day," said Burnett. "But just about every day, at least until the weekend, it does look like we will be from time to time, as indicated, dodging a few showers."
