$20,000 Reward Marks 13th Anniversary Of Unsolved Fatalities

EVANS CITY (AP) - State police are marking the 13th anniversary of the unsolved hit-and-run deaths of two Butler County teenagers with a reminder of a $20,000 reward.

Police believe 15-year-olds Shawn Baur and Scott Fosnaught Jr. were run down by a vehicle along a rural road in Forward Township, on July 17, 2002.

State police have yet to arrest anyone in the deaths of the boys, who were struck and killed about 1:30 a.m.

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers continues to offer a $20,000 reward.

The boys had apparently been drinking at a party before they were killed. Two adults were charged with supplying the booze, but nobody has been linked to the deaths.

A candlelight vigil at the state police barracks in Butler was planned Friday night.
