SWAT Team Called To East Liberty
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police and the SWAT team were called to the city's East Liberty section Wednesday afternoon.
The incident began around 5:15 p.m. in the 600-block of North Sheridan Avenue.
Police say they probation officers were looking for a man, but when officers pulled up he rain inside a home.
That's when SWAT was called in.
He surrendered shortly after and the situation ended peacefully around 6:30 p.m.
Police say he had posted photos of himself holding weapons, which is a violation of his probation.
