2 Woman Accused Of Scaring Restaurant Customers With Stun Gun

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- Two women are facing charges after police say they took a stun gun into a Westmoreland County restaurant and allegedly tormented customers with it.

State police say the incident happened at the Primanti Bros. in Greensburg.

"It's not good decision-making; there's just no way around it," says Trooper Steve Limani, of Pennsylvania State Police. "That's not what those things are intended for."

The women are identified as Mercedez Lynn and Kacie Blazowich, both 21.

"The two females were in the restroom and they were using this stun gun to alarm one of the people that was inside a stall by reaching it under the stalls and setting it off," said Trooper Limani.

A stun gun is not unlike a police Taser, except it is much smaller and is portable, but it still packs a wallop.

"We're taking about 50,000 volts of electricity," says Trooper Limani.

Investigators say that the two weren't done playing with the stun gun after they left the bathroom.

"Subsequently, they took it out to the bar making the patrons around them very nervous," Trooper Limani said.

Fortunately, no one was struck by the highly-charged electrodes.

"These things are made to stop an attacker from touching you," said Trooper Limani. "These two individuals had fled the scene before the troopers' arrival."

But customers apparently knew the duo and identified them for investigators. State police eventually caught up with the pair.

Blazowich and Lynn will face disorderly conduct charges. But troopers say they're fortunate those are the only counts they'll have to deal with.
